1 Start taking orders for boxes/cases (48 one ounce packets) of peanuts. 1-3 107th I-I District Convention (DCON), Doubletree Hotel in Davenport, Iowa 6 Budget Meeting #1 after the club meeting. All club members welcome. 10 CareAge House Meals – Susan Rayhill Dinner 6:00pm, Sign Ups welcome to provide entree/side dish. 11 Board Meeting 1:00pm Central Christian Church 13 Budget Meeting #2 after the club meeting. All club members welcome. 15 Deadline to file Form 990 and Form-EZ extensions if needed. 20 Budget Meeting #3 (only if needed!) 21 Paula reported she is partnering with Millikin for a Freshman service project and going to have a lid “Sort Day” August 21st. Those who collect lids no longer need to sort them at home. We will use them on the “Sort Day”. Cheryl Boss will be in charge of coordinating Golden K volunteers with Millikin students and giving them Gold Cards. 26 Good Samaritan Inn – Susan Rayhill needs 6 volunteers, 11-1pm 26-27 & 29 Farm Progress Show Needs 12-24 volunteers for 4 beverage stands. Harold has the Sign Up Sheets for the Shifts. 27 The Golden K Club Meeting will be cancelled! September
